What we do
Our Outside Events team offers short fun croquet sessions for corporate, charity and social events (including weddings). You do not need any experience to play croquet. It can be picked up in minutes. So it is an excellent way for organisations to team build or ice break or for people to have organised fun. Be warned it can become quite competitive!
Caversham Croquet Club has several years’ experience of running successful croquet events in the Berkshire area including working with hotel events teams, charity organisers and sports groups.
We bring with us all the necessary professional croquet equipment. Our club members will set up the lawn, organise play and provide coaching and support. Around 1.5 to 2 hours seems to work best. So you can relax – you will be in good hands and you can be confident that people will enjoy themselves.
How much will it cost?
Once we have a clear idea of your requirements including the number of participants, the type of event and location we will be able to give you a price for organising your croquet event.
When should I book?
We are a thriving club, so we need as much notice as possible to book an event, at least four weeks.
Croquet was one of the first sporting activities to be permitted under lockdown because social distancing is easy. There are restrictions on how many players can be on the lawn at any one time, but that is not a problem because croquet always works on a people on, people off basis.
If you would like to know more please contact our Events Organiser – Judy Reddy at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to have access to a suitable lawn (probably hotel grounds) within an approx. 25 mile radius of Reading. We look forward to hearing from you.
