What personal data do we keep?
Current members’ names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and croquet handicaps.
Why do we keep your personal data?
To communicate with Members about latest developments in the Club, forthcoming events such as Members’ Days, other croquet competitions, the state of the lawn and club news in general.
Without this limited personal data the Club would be unable to communicate with its Members.
With whom do we share this personal data?
We share your personal data with other members of the Club so that members can communicate with each other about club business such as setting up games with each other.
If you opt to become a standard member of the Croquet Association, your personal data is shared with the Croquet Association so that, for example, you can receive the Croquet Gazette direct to your home as well as access to the full Croquet Association website.
Your personal data will not be shared with any other individual or organisation.
We would review the cause of the breach, implement any necessary remedial action and apologise to the Member(s) concerned.
What do we do with your personal data if you cease to be a Member of the Club?
When you cease to be a member, we retain your personal data for a maximum period of four months after which we delete all your personal data from the Club’s information systems and records.
