Blewbury August Short Croquet Festival.
This year won by Charles Briggs from Caversham – trophy presented by organiser Carol Jamieson on Saturday August 2nd.
Two weeks later, on August 16th, Charles was back at Blewbury to play with the Caversham Short Croquet Handicap League Team of Neil George, Heather Hanshaw, and Chris Barnard for a nail biting day resulting in an 8 All draw. There are only 3 teams in the SCF Short Croquet League and having beaten Hamptworth already (who drew with Blewbury in their Match) this means that Caversham have won the Cup for this year (for the first time!).
