Committee man Brian Jamieson kept the Armada Trophy in Caversham when he won the prestigious one-ball competition in Winchester today.
Last year another of our members, Chris Pegrum, took the title.
Brian won five of his six games against some of the top players in the Southern Federation and then took the honours in a nearest-the-peg shoot-out with the home club’s Pete Worth, who also won five games.
It was Brian’s second successful visit to the Hampshire city in the space of five days after he led Caversham A to a thumping 12-4 victory over Winchester in the Advantage League.
