Charles Briggs and Carol Jamieson won their group blocks in Caversham’s preliminary round of the All-England GC championship.
The pair both qualified for the regional final at Phyllis Court on August 10th.
The matches were refereed by Brian Jamieson who subsequently put on another of his hats — that of club handicapper — to assess the contestants’ scorecards. Watch this space!
